v Two letters of reference showing awesome Christian character & integrity, commitment to ministry, and financial ability. Note: One from a Pastor or former leader before you became pastor.
v Completion application and application fee of $50.00.
v Official transcripts from your high school or equivalent, official college or university transcripts, or any official transcripts from any institution that you may have attended. (Unless ATB)
v two recent Passport size photo's of the student
v A one page essay stating why you want to be a part of New Birth Bible College, about your family, about you and your goals after you have received your degree, diploma or certificate. All must be at least 500 words.

Life Experience Credit
When potential students have extensive ministerial experience of at least 10 years in a verified position in the ministry, they may receive credits based on their life experience. These life experience credits can be counted to make up 25% of the student's total degree program. Confirming evidence of the life experience credit request must be submitted. New

I.D Cards:
All students will receive an ID card with your name and student number on the card. If you loose the card, there will be a $5.00 replacement fee attached before we can issue you another card. The cards will always go out 2 weeks after courses start.
Academic Requirements:
I. One Semester Credit Hour of Study is 15 Academic Hours or its equivalent.
1. One 50 minute class at one time a week for 15 weeks including a written project, quizzes, assigned reading and/or a final exam.
2. Fifteen pages of reading equal one class lecture. A one credit hour course would require
225 pages of reading at the undergraduate level of study.
3. Or any combination of the above methods of study which equal one credit hour of class room study.
Examples:
a.) 1 credit hour course = (15) 50 minute class lectures including a written project, quizzes, assigned reading and/or a final exam.
b.) 1 credit hour course = (225) pages of reading including a written project, quizzes, assigned reading and/or a final exam.
c.) 1 credit hour course = (8) 50 minute class lectures and (100) pages of reading including a written project, quizzes, assigned reading and/or a final exam.
II. Graduate Study
Graduate study requires 375 pages of reading for a one (1) graduate semester credit hour including a written project, quizzes, assigned reading and/or a final exam or an appropriate combination of equivalents under

Master’s thesis is 50 pages 8 ½ X 11 typewritten double spaced in size 14 type or less..
IV. Doctoral Dissertation
Doctoral dissertation is 175 pages 8 ½ X 11 typewritten double spaced
V. Master and Doctorate of Ministry
Master or Doctor of Ministry degrees do not require a thesis or dissertation respectively.
ATB (Ability to Benefit Students):
Any prospective students, who do not have a GED or the equivalent, can be enrolled under the ATB program for a probationary period until permanent student status can be validated. A student under the probationary period is required to take at least four courses before they are able to go into a degree program. If the student does not complete the four courses than they can take classes to receive certificate of completion only. The Fee for the ATB Program is $500.00.

TUITION PAYMENT
Tuition for each semester must be paid at the time of enrollment for each semester. A budget plan for tuition payments may be arranged for full-time students who contact the administration office prior to the opening of the school term. Such budget payments will consist of twelve equal payments due on registration day and the first business day of each month during the rest of the term. The student will be required to sign an payment plan agreement in order to make monthly payments. A $50.00 late fee will be added for payments not received on time. Students who are more than ten days late on any payment will not be allowed to continue their studies. There is a $35.00 returned check fee for each non-cashable check. No grades will be issued to students with unpaid balances, and no student will be permitted to register for a new term until all previous balances are settled. No student will be graduated until all tuition, fees, and other charges are paid in full. To withdraw from the Institution a student must submit a written letter of withdrawal to the administration. Without such written notice, the student will be responsible for all tuition charges and grades for the semester.

DEAN’S LIST
Undergraduate students receiving a grade point average of 3.00 (B) or better for any term in which they have carried 12 or more credit hours, and graduate students receiving a grade point average of 3.00 (B) or better for any term in which they have carried 6 or more credit hours, will be placed on the Dean’s List for the term and receive a certificate indicating this accomplishment.
GRADUATION HONORS
The following honors are granted to graduating students in undergraduate and graduate programs with superior achievement:
Cum Laude 3.50 cumulative grade point average
Magna Cum Laude 3.75 cumulative grade point average
Summa Cum Laude 3.90 cumulative grade point average
UNSATISFACTORY PROGRESS
Any undergraduate or graduate student whose cumulative grade point average drops below a 2.00 (C) will be placed on academic probation. If the grade point average for the following term drops below 2.00 (C) and/or the student fails to raise his cumulative grade point average to a 2.00 (C) within two terms, the student will be placed in the non-degree certificate program or dismissed from college.
ACADEMIC COUNSELING
Most students are counseled privately by the instructor of the class when necessary. The administration is also available for academic counseling when requested by the student, instructor, or the student’s parents.
DRESS AND HAIR CODE
General: Shorts are permitted only when participating in athletic events. Any questionable apparel will be left to the discretion of the administration.
Men: Hair should be clean, neat and combed. Beards and mustaches will be allowed as long as they are kept well groomed. Clothes and shoes must be clean and have no holes. Ladies: Hair should be clean, neat and combed. Dress should be attractive and modest.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
A maximum of two unexcused absences per class, per semester are permitted. The instructor for each course is granted discretion as to whether to penalize students with unexcused absences by requiring extra make-up assignments, lowering the course grade, or not granting credit for the courses.
TRANSFER AND LIFE EXPERIENCE CREDITS

v NBBC Transfer of Credits between NBBC Institutions
v NBBC institutions shall maintain their sovereign rights to determine what credits they will accept for transfer. When NBBC faith based institutions adhere to the NBBC quality academic standards the NBBC encourages its institutions to grant preferred credit transfer privileges to graduates or students of current active member NBBC institutions. The transferred credits, without prejudice, must be by official transcript, and meet the requirements of the receiving institution’s program of study. Acceptance of student by the NBBC institution is an independent decision from this transfer of credits agreement.
Graduation Requirements:
All graduates are required to pay all fees and payments that are due to New Birth Bible College. The student graduation fee of $500.00 which includes 25 invitations, gown, tassel, cap & stole plus shipping which will be due 6 months prior to graduating. If you are not able to attend the graduation then your graduation fee will be $150.00. We ask that if you are planning to come to Florida to be in the graduation that you sign up for the graduation 6 months ahead of time. If you are receiving a masters or doctorate degree we ask that you make sure you have completed all requirements for receiving masters of doctorates degree. Make sure that you have completed your thesis and/ or dissertation.
